Stella Dalton is Head of Education & Prevention at GamCare the UK charity providing advice, information and support for anyone affected by problem gambling.
Stella joined GamCare in 2008 following more than 25 years in the UK Casino Gaming Industry from Dealer through to Manager at high end London operations at the Rank Group and later in resourcing, training and organisational development.
Responsible for the progression of player protection and responsible gambling initiatives, Stella leads her team of Clinical and Industry experts at GamCare to design and deliver Social Responsibility Training, high in demand throughout the UK and Europe and GamCare Certification, a unique accreditation aimed to improve and support player protection standards.
Well known within the Industry for her knowledge of gambling and compliance across all sectors land based and remote, Stella is in daily contact with operators, regulators and industry associates across multiple jurisdictions.

Julia Fowler – Head of Human Resources at The Ritz Club
Julia has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, primarily within the hospitality sector and has been at The Ritz Club since 2013 where she holds the position of Head of Human Resources. Working alongside all areas of the business at all levels to provide relevant HR support and to achieve departmental and overall business strategy. Julia has most recently supported the project management team in the set up and launch of The Ritz Club London.com, The Ritz Club Online gaming platform exclusively available to existing members of the Club.
Ruth Halsall – HR Consultant
Ruth has worked in online gaming since 1999 providing a whole range of HR direction and support to various companies. She has been involved in several start-ups in Gibraltar, Malta and Asia. She has also acted as a consultant to various online gaming software providers both in UK and Europe. Ruth has mentored a number of HR personnel new to the industry and is currently working as HR consultant mostly within the online gaming community.
Angela Hooper– Administrative Officer & Executive Assistant Alea.com
Since joining ALEA at its inception five years ago, Administrative Officer Angela Hooper has been a critical member of the team, becoming fundamental in the growth and success that enabled the company to launch the first VR casino, SlotsMillion. Also responsible for organising events and conference participation, Angela’s self-confessed obsession for detail and her obvious calm demeanour continuously prove invaluable when it comes to the chaotic madness these shows can generate.
Kelly Kehn – Principal Consultant, Kelly A. Kehn Consulting Ltd
Kelly Kehn has been in iGaming senior management since 2012. She’s led teams and brands through regulatory changes, migrations and rebrands as well as held leadership roles in marketing, operations, management and sales. In 2016 she formed Kelly A. Kehn Consulting Ltd., a consulting firm dedicated to helping companies grow their business and improve corporate governance through recruitment, retention, mentorship and empowerment of women. Her mission is to demonstrate to corporations the invaluable benefit of gender diversity through measurable results and revenue growth.
Lois Rice – CAE, Executive Director for the Colorado Gaming Association
Lois has served as the Executive Director for the Colorado Gaming Association since January, 1997. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of professional and trade association management, primarily in government affairs, education and media relations.
Ms. Rice has undergraduate and masters’ degrees from the University of Colorado Denver in Public Policy and Political Science and in 2009 was awarded the “Outstanding Graduate Study Award” from the Colorado City & County Management Association and the Colorado Municipal League for her research project on state funding mechanisms for gambling addiction treatment.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado, the Tourism Industry Association of Colorado, and is past president of the Colorado Society of Association Executives. Under Ms. Rice’s leadership, the Colorado Gaming Association has received awards from the American Gaming Association and the American Society of Association Executives for its communications and public service efforts.
Paris Smith – CEO at Pinnacle Sports
Paris Smith has been CEO of Pinnacle.com for over 10 years. Christina Thakor-Rankin – Principal Consultant at 1710 Gaming Ltd
Christina has over 25 years’ experience in the betting, and gambling industry. Starting out in the pre-dotcom era, she has a career spanning land, internet and mobile, covering all aspects of gaming operations, holding senior roles with some of the world’s best known brands (including William Hill and Virgin) responsible for managing multiple business disciplines, functions and teams across a range of channels, products and customers, including regulatory compliance and money laundering.
She is currently Principal Consultant at 1710 Gaming Ltd working with start-ups, investors, established operators, regulators, law enforcement and industry groups across the world, advising on all aspects of the betting, gaming and gambling cycle – from market research and analysis, to licensing and compliance, products and marketing, project management and business strategy, to full operational set-up and customer engagement.
She remains an active Compliance Officer and MLRO, non-Executive Director and Board member, and regularly contributes to industry publications and events. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Politics, and a Master’s degree in Classics.
