888 Holdings sign agreement with Pennsylvania casino

In what looks like a pre-emptive strike on the future of Pennsylvania online gambling 888 Holdings have signed a deal with Mount Airy Casino Resort to provide online gaming services to the casino SHOULD it be legalised in the state.

At present public hearings are taking place in Pennsylvania and there are also three bills presented to the house in favour of introducing online gambling. Many politicians in the state see falling revenues for their state casinos and believe online gambling will help them boost revenues.

This new deal by 888 Holdings shows that what many believe that Pennsylvania will be the next state to legalise online gambling and join Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey.
