EGT Sets Sights on South American Expansion

European gambling technology firm Euro Games Technology (EGT) has opened a Columbian HQ in a bid to widen its games machine distribution network to the South American market.

Customized gaming machines specialist EGT is currently headquartered in Sofia Bulgaria with 17 worldwide strategic commercial offices.

Following an in-depth review of regional markets legal frameworks and business climate EGT has chosen the Columbian capital city of Bogota as its South American business base, stating that it offers much promise in terms of a robust growth in sales. Silviya Marinova has been appointed Regional Director at the Bogota office and will be heading up who’ll be building on commercial growth and business development.
Looking to expand into new markets, the Bulgarian machine manufacturer has secured a ‘slot cabinet’ provisions arrangement with Spanish gambling operator Grupo Codere which will supply 78 multi-player cabinets to its South American casino portfolio.
