London coming to Macau
It seems that a little bit of London is coming to Macau after Sands China announced it is spending up to $1.1 billion renovating and rebranding its current Sands Cotai Central to The Londoner Macau.
The company led by billionaire Sheldon Adelson has five properties in Macau and currently the Sands Cotai Central is the worst performing with analyst’s saying that the venue has little character and tourist appeal.
That it seems is about to change with the company saying it will develop the resort and have a London-themes attraction. Would it be Big Ben, Buckingham Palace or The Tower of London? Sands are not saying at present.
Sands has done it all before with their Venetian or its Parisian properties featuring gondolas going down a man made river or The Eiffel Tower, now Macau will get their own piece of London coming soon.
