France Looks To Take Online Gambling To Paris

If France get their way it could become the new gambling hub for technology and attract gambling operators to set up there from the UK.
With Brexit looming in one form or another which is concerning many technology companies and gambling operators France and its President Emmanuel Macron wants to steal a march and show those nervous companies that France is the place to go.
Indeed the French President has had meetings with leaders from Facebook and Uber in attracting them to the benefits of setting up in France. His strategy of reducing the powers of unions and offering incentives to start-up companies along with a clear and defined tax could indeed attract the attentions of operators also.
With Gibraltar lying in UK territory and Malta struggling to attract skilled workers for the industry France could be the new place to go.
The one big attraction and that is why many technology companies are now ignoring the UK to invitations to set up there apart from the Brexit concern is the France is making overtures that IT can help shape EU opinion in their favour where the UK will soon have no influence at all.
France knows it has some way to go to compete with the technology muscle of London to compare to Paris but it does seem the tide of change is happening and the result of Brexit and its terms to that may be the deciding factor for France or London.
