Las Vegas To Allow 50% Capacity For Casinos

Steve Sisolak
Las Vegas governor Steve Sisolak has announced that from today that capacity within casinos will increase from the current 35% capacity to 50%.
The move comes after the state has seen just 222 new coronavirus cases in one day and only one death on Sunday.
With casino resorts struggling with the current restrictions the governor now believes it is time to loosen restrictions
According to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention there have been a total of 299,287 cases with 5,118 deaths in the state since the pandemic hit last March. It is also stated that some 989,000 residents have been vaccinated out of a population of three million so far.
Originally casinos opened up with a 25% capacity back in November till February this year and the governor then allowed a 35% threshold on capacity.
