Trump Wants Casino For Florida Resort

Eric Trump
The Washington Post is reporting that Eric Trump wants to do that a decade of professionals and lawmakers has failed to do and get Florida to allow for casinos.
In the report it is quoting Eric Trump the son of former US President Donald Trump to allow for the Miami Doral Golf Resort to develop a casino to help with plummeting revenues at the Trump owned property.
Although no such legislation has been drafted or even talked about at legislative level it is understood that state Senate President Wilton Simpson wants to bring forward a law that would allow property developers to grant gambling licenses without any approval from local government.
Donald Trump has always had a good relationship with current Florida governor Ron DeSantis but the likelihood any such legislation would pass lawmakers is as one gaming consultant said, “more chance of Florida declaring independence.”
At present only racetracks and tribal reservations are allowed to have gambling or casinos.
