Recovery In Macau To Struggle Says Deutsche Bank

Macau gambling will see a 32% fall in previous gross gaming revenue predictions according to Deutsche Bank for the second quarter of this year.
The bank who has revised its predictions for investors had initially predicted that casino operators would see revenues of $4.39 billion for the quarter but now has revised this to $2.96 billion.
This would still be a 635% rise in the quarter compared to 2020, however all casinos were temporarily closed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The estimates for the three months until 30th June
Full year estimates by Deutsche Bank has gross gaming revenues at $19.29 billion which would be up 155% compared to 2020 but is a fall of 18% compared to the original estimate of $23.44 billion.
