G2E Asia Show Announce Date Change
In an update to previous news it has now been officially announced by Reed Exhibitions that the show will now be postponed to November, below is the official PR from the organisers:
Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia – the marketplace for the Asian gaming and entertainment industry – will return to the Venetian Macao from November 9-11, 2021.
Traditionally held in May, the November convening will allow exhibitors and attendees more time to plan for their participation in light of continued COVID-19-related commercial and travel restrictions. G2E Asia 2021 will be a smaller and more personal experience for attendees to focus on networking and exploring new products in core gaming and integrated resorts.
“Through ongoing consultation with our exhibitors and the Macau government, Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association determined that a November event provides the best opportunity to create a valuable marketplace, educational content and networking opportunities for the global gaming industry,” said Josephine Lee, chief operating officer, Reed Exhibitions China. “We look forward to bringing the gaming community together at G2E Asia, as the industry continues to recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19.”
G2E Asia Online Expo & Conference will be held on May 25, 2021. This virtual event will serve as an engagement opportunity as the industry gets ready for an exciting return to Macau with the in-person event in November 2021.

Reed Exhibitions event G2E Asia the trade show for the gambling industry focusing on the Asian market is under some confusion as it was reported earlier on Thursday 20th May that the event was postponed from its August date till November.
However this does not currently show on the official website and originally was posted by Asian focused news website GGR Asia but was later removed.
If reports are current that would be the third time the trade show has moved this year and shows the difficulties for any event business and especially a large attendee event such as an exhibition show like G2E Asia.
One gaming insider working in Macau told the iGaming Post: “we are hearing that G2E Asia will be postponed again till later in the year, it is no surprise as international travel is still pretty much closed off and also mass gatherings like an exhibition is still concerning for many.”
Reed along with its partners the American Gaming Association is yet to make an official announcement but the postponement is almost certain to take place.
