New Jersey gambling industry saw an increase of 10.4% for the month of February,  that is compared to the same month last year. Those numbers include both bricks and mortar and online gambling.

Land based gambling saw only a slight increase in profits and many land based casinos in New Jersey won more money in 2019, before the pandemic than they did in February this year.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement which released the latest figures on Thursday shows that casinos and racetracks won $412 million in the month, which is a rise of 10.4% from last year. However the figure actually won is lower than this when some 70% of those winners must be shared by third-party tech firms that supply their services.

Online gambling saw revenues of $142 million a rise of 10% and the Super Bowl saw bets totalling $847.4 million with a win factor for operators of $54.6 million.
