Nevada Gaming Revenues for May Top $1 Billion Again

Nevada gambling revenues hit $1.28 billion for the month of May reported regulator the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).

 Compared to the previous month casino revenues were up 6.6% but compared to the same period last year were lower at 0.84%, however this marks the 27th consecutive month that gaming revenues have hit the magical $1 billion target.

The Strip saw a rise of 14.5% from the previous month which stood at $715.9 million compared to April’s $624.7 million.

Clark County casinos in total hit $1.1 billion and taxes collected by the state totalled $84.2 million for the month and totalled for the year at $971.2 million.

Mobile sports betting accounted for 67.9% of all sports betting for the month.
