Macau June Gaming Revenues Dip 2.3% From Previous Month

The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reported June revenues of MOP15.21 billion (US$1.88 billion) which represents a 2.3% drop from May revenues.

However compared to June 2022 revenues were up a huge 513.9% says the regulator, with June having a bank holiday on the Chinese mainland and the Dragon Boat Festival.

Normally analyst’s expect a flat revenue curve compared with May as traditionally over the last 15 years that has been the case.

Now June has passed the second quarter figures show gross gaming revenues of MOP45.49 billion which is up 31.3% compared to the first quarter of this year, on comparison to 2019 before the onset of the COVD19 pandemic that is a 62% of the revenues established then.

Compare to the same period last year revenues were up 205.1%.
