Betfred To Buy ALL William Hill Betting Shops?

As previously reported that Caesars Entertainment is the only viable bidder for UK Bookmaker William Hill, it is now understood that the US casino giant only wants the US facing business of the bookmaker and will look to sell off the entire retail estate in the UK should its bid be successful.
In a statement from Caesars Entertainment laying out their bidding intentions the company said it would, “seek suitable partners or owners” for the British group’s operations in the UK.”
One insider said that Caesars is clearly and only after the US business and does not see the UK arm of any real value, indeed as William Hill is currently undervalued as a company whatever Caesars gain from the sale of the retail business would be a bonus.
An early frontrunner in any sale to acquire all 1,400 retail outlets would be Betfred who already has 1,500 betting shops in its portfolio.
