Casinos Austria Go For Nagasaki License In Japan

According to reports in Asia there are currently two bidders for a casino resort in Japan’s Nagasaki region, those being a Japanese consortium called Current Corp and European based operator Casinos Austria who have a Japanese division specifically for the gaming market there.

No decision has yet been made for the locations for what is expected to be three Integrate Resorts in Japan but Nagasaki’s local government are pushing for inclusion.

However no decision is likely to be formalised by the region until a vote happens in June 2021 by the local assembly.

At present there are just the two confirmed parties interested in Nagasaki but it is understood that at least one more company could apply in the form of Get Nice Holdings, who were an investor formely of Galaxy Entertainment in Macau, however this is still not been confirmed.
