Crown Resorts Barangaroo cannot open their casino
Crown had been deemed unfit to operate their new $2.2 billion casino resort in Barangaroo which is slated to open in December this year with the NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) saying at present the operator has a flawed operating protocol.
In response and an attempt to regain control of what is quickly becoming a major disaster for the operator, legal counsel for Crown, James Young, QC, said that Crown’s “honest mistakes” should not disqualify the organisation from operating the casino in Sydney or elsewhere.
In fact it seems the casino company has indicated that the June 2021 restart of junkets could be cancelled permanently.
