Crown Resorts Barangaroo cannot open their casino
The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) made newspaper adverts this week to call for submissions on the suitability of James Packer and Crown in opening a new casino in Harbour side Barangaroo. The casino development should it receive clearance will be a VIP only casino costing Crown around $1.3 billion
The state’s Casino Control Act requires that any holder of a casino licence has to be regarded by the ILGA as a “suitable person”.
