DraftKings and DWG Push into Michigan

Design Works Gaming has continued its push into Michigan by launching content in the state with DraftKings.

DraftKings players in Michigan can now experience leading DWG titles, including Double Fancy 7s and 10X Fortune, via Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.

The news comes hot on the heels of DWG’s September 2022 launch with DraftKings in New Jersey.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said: “DraftKings is one of the initial innovators of the US interactive market and they have carefully constructed a competitive, exciting ecosystem for their players. The fact that their team has prioritized bringing DWG titles to every market as fast as possible really speaks to the quality of our content and how it resonates with their players.”

DWG was granted a license to provide its games to operators in the state of Michigan by the Michigan Gaming Control Board in October 2021.

At the time Zurawski said: “We’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country.”
