Eldorado Casino Sold To DeSimone Gaming

Eldorado Casino in South Nevada is to be sold off by Boyd Gaming to DeSimone Gaming for as yet undisclosed fee according to local reports.

The casinos based in Henderson, South Nevada will now be part of the company that five years ago acquired the Railroad Pass Hotel from MGM Resorts. Currently the casino is closed and has not reopened since the shutdown of all casinos in Nevada due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March.

However a spokesperson for DeSimone Gaming said the Eldorado Casino will now reopen in the spring of 2021.

A spokesperson from Boyd Gaming said in an email to the press: “The Eldorado was a non-core asset to our company, and as we have continued to grow over the years, this property represented a very modest part of our overall business.”
