Evoke Names Mark Summerfield As New Chairman

Mark Summerfield
Evoke has announced the appointment of Mark Summerfield as its new Chair, following the departure of Lord Jon Mendelsohn.
Lord Jon Mendelsohn, who has been a pivotal figure at Evoke since joining the board in 2020, has stepped down from his role as Chair and Non-Executive Director. His tenure included a critical phase for the company, during which he served as interim Executive Chair from January to October 2023. Mendelsohn’s leadership was instrumental in overseeing the integration of William Hill International into Evoke, as well as the company’s rebranding efforts.
Mark Summerfield, who has been with Evoke since 2019, has been appointed as the new Non-Executive Chair of the Board. His extensive experience within the company, including his previous roles as Chair of both the Audit & Risk Committee and the Gaming Compliance Committee, positions him well to lead Evoke into its next chapter. Summerfield’s deep understanding of the company’s operations and strategic goals is expected to be a valuable asset.
Under Summerfield’s leadership, Evoke aims to build on the momentum established during Mendelsohn’s tenure. The company has recently opened a new office in Leeds, which will house over 750 employees across various departments, including creative, trading, and retail. This expansion reflects Evoke’s commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities and fostering innovation within the gaming industry.
Upcoming Financial Update
