Expectations Grow For Macau H2

Expectations for the Macau gambling industry are rising especially in the second half of 2021, the news comes as Morgan Stanley the investment bank revised their outlook for the industry.
The firm says it expects gross gambling revenue of $24 billion and corporate EBITDA of $6.4 billion for the year. Those numbers are between 65% and 70% of 2019 figures.
Its analysts believe that with visas now for mainland China opening up and the government advising Chinese nationals to stay local and avoid international travel the winds of fortune may be blowing in the casino operator’s favour.
The investment company says that the first half of 2021 will still be challenging for Macau operators as confidence in travel grows but it is expected grow faster in the second half of the year.
