First License To Offer Local Online Gambling Issued In Philippines
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) has issued its first online gambling license allowing for gambling online to locals to DFNN, the general online license is the first outside of a casino environment with Bloomberry Resorts’ Solaire Resort & Casino allowed to offer online gambling to its VIP customers.
The Philippine based gaming technology company with offer its products through the URL inplay.ph, however the details of those games DFNN will offer have not be made public at present.
With the issue of the license PAGCOR has allowed the move in light of the reduction in Philippine Offshore Gambling Operators (POGOs), who were licensed to offer online gambling to overseas gamblers. Those operators have reduced over recent months with the Philippine government increased demand on taxes and costs.
