In a recent article Flutter Entertainment said that it is looking for further acquisitions this year and hopes to get something done in that area this year.

As Flutter prepares itself for a US listing of its business the gambling giant that operates Betfair and Paddy Power is not stopping its expansion as it looks to further grow in less known markets for its business.

It could also be a big deal as last year the company spent £1.7 billion acquiring Italian operator Sisal SpA and Dan Taylor the International Chief Executive of Flutter said in a recent interview, “We would be hopeful to get something done this year, we continue to work on things and we have a very strong pipeline of things that are deliverable in 2023 and beyond.”

It is understood Flutter wants to grow in markets such as Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe, although the company has net debts of £4.6 billion compared to £2.65 billion last year due to the above mentioned acquisition it will not stop the company from looking at attractive suitors to purchase.

Today is the companies Annual General Meeting and it is expected that the proposal to list part of their business on the US Stock Exchange will be voted in favour by shareholders.
