Flutter Post Soaring Annual Revenues Of £4.4 Billion

Flutter Entertainment reported their full year results with revenues soaring to £4.4 billion compared to £2.1 billion in 2019, however pre-tax profits were down from £136 million the previous year to just £1 million in 2020.
The fall in profits was put down to costs in the £9.3 billion merger with the Stars Group.
Peter Jackson, CEO of Flutter Entertainment, said on the latest results: “We delivered a very strong financial performance in 2020, benefiting from our scale and diversification,” Jackson went on to say, “We continue to grow our recreational player base across all key regions, in Q4 alone the Group had over 7.6m monthly online players.”
Flutter which owns businesses such as Sky Bet, Betfair and Paddy Power has recently announced it is handing over £14 million or £1,000 to each of their employees as a thank you for their hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
