Govt. Announcement Due On Casino Reopening

UK casinos are bracing themselves today to hear from the Prime Minister on exactly what Tier regions will be placed in. The national lockdown end on the 2^nd December and will be replaced with the “Tier” system, with that any region that is placed in the highest “tier 3” will mean casinos in that area will have to remain closed along with all other entertainment and leisure facilities.

Most experts believe there will be very few regions that will have tier 1, meaning the lowest restrictions and most will be placed in tier 2 or 3.

Already casinos have been closed for most of the year and only opened up for a few months before the latest national lockdown.

However this time betting shops will remain open even thou they may be placed in the highest tier as set out by the government earlier this week.

Casino operators are waiting for the announcement this morning before informing their staff on if they can reopen.
