Greece Open For Online Gambling License Applications
Greece are ready to accept applications for online gambling, the Hellenic Gaming Commission said that the process for applications from shareholder, executives, manufacturers, suppliers and certification organisations is now available to process on online.
At present there are two available licenses to apply for online games of chance and sports betting. In January this year the Greek Ministry of Finance completed its gambling regulations for the online industry after being approved by the parliament in October last year.
A sports betting license will cost €3 million and any other online games license will be €2 million with both having to pay 35% tax on their gross gaming revenue.
