July revenues figures for Macau fall 4.5%

July figures from the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau report that the month for casino operators suffered a fall in revenues for the 26th consecutive month with a drop of 4.5%.

The fall in revenues from the same month in 2015 was not a steep as feared and in fact is lower than the near 12% fall in June. Figures for July revenues stood at $2.22 billion for the world’s largest gambling hub, in total for the seven months so far of 2016 revenue total stands at MOP125.56 billion which represents a decline of 10.5% from the same period in 2015.
