LVS Boss Sets Out Clear Plan For Company

In a recent J.P. Morgan forum chat CEO of Las Vegas Sands (LVS) Rob Goldstein has indicated that the proceeds from the sale of the companies Las Vegas business for $6.25 billion will be used to expand their presence in Asia, the US and its online gambling presence.

The remarks by Goldstein now seem to close the door on any move for troubled Australian casino operator Crown Resorts. Prior to the death of LVS founder Sheldon Adelson there were rumours that the company were in early discussions to acquire Crown from major shareholder James Packer, although they were dismissed they continued to grown however with the recent comments by the LVS boss it seems the company will now focus on e three pronged approach.

Goldstein said of the sale of the Las Vegas properties that LVS saw less than 10% of its revenues from that market as opposed to 90% coming from their Asia market.

So it seems the plan going forward with LVS is secure and expand Macau, expand in Singapore and then work on building the digital business for LVS in the US.
