Mark Brown new COO

Mark A. Brown has been appointed Chief Operating Officer  (COO) for NagaWorld Ltd, he will be responsible for overseeing the initial stages of NagaCorp’s casino project near Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East.

Previously Mr. Brown was President of The Venetian Macao and also of Sands Macao between 2006 and 2009, however in 2012 he was refused a gaming license by the Australian state of New South Wales after accepting a job by Echo Entertainment as Marketing Manager for their Star Casino resort in Sydney Australia, no reason was given to why the license was not granted to Mr. Brown.

NagaCorp announced in September it was planning to invest $350 million to build a casino, resort in the Russian province of Primorsky Krai, which borders both with China and North Korea.

The resort will have 100 gaming tables, 500 electronic machines, the resort is planned to be opened by late 2018.
