Massachusetts lawmaker wants online gambling in state

massachusetts-flagMassachusetts which is considering to allow for two new casino resort style casinos operated by Wynn Resorts and MGM also wants to consider online gambling.

Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr wants the state Gambling Commission to take a review on internet gambling also to help casinos drive in more revenues and in turn increase revenue taxes for the state.

It is expected that Massachusetts will allow for two resort casinos in the next couple of years but with MGM supporting online gambling and Wynn Resorts not quite so sure about it observers believe it is a fifty-fifty chance that the state will join Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey in online gambling. Many believe that Pennsylvania will be the next to join the fledgling industry.
