Aspers the UK casino operator will open the largest casino outside of London in Milton Keynes this Thursday 5th September. The company that went through a 6 year process to seal the deal with the local council has invested over £15 million in the new development and created 250 new jobs.
On awarding the license the head of Milton Keynes council said, “The winning bid was judged to provide the best all round package to Milton Keynes. It will provide not only a new completely different – yet responsibly managed – kind of leisure facility for Milton Keynes, but numerous associated facilities and benefits for the local community, as well as creating scores of jobs.
As part of the deal the casino will give at least £500,000 a year for the life of the casino to the council in order to support local communities with new initiatives.
The casino operator has high hopes for their new casino in Milton Keynes with its location in the South East Midlands there are more than eight million people living within a one hour drive of the new development.
