New UK Gaming Expo Rumoured
The iGaming Post has received information that a group of gaming companies are looking to hold an exhibition for the industry in the UK this year.
According to several sources the plans are underway to hold an event to involve the online gambling industry service suppliers and technology sectors with funding for the event being supported by investors in the US.
If the plans reach development it is understood the exhibition will take place in late summer or early autumn with the venue still under discussion in either London or central England.
With Clarion Gaming announcing the cancellation of their 2021 ICE Expo due to COVID-19 concerns and now planning for 2022 there appears to be an opportunity for a rival event to take place. The iGaming Post understands that the size of the event will be limited but a focus on more quality rather than quantity.
Sources close to the organisers of the new event have said that if all goes well the announcement of the expo will be announced as soon as April with face to face attendees and a small focused conference also taking place.
