Optimal Payments has announced that it has renewed its current agreement with Loto-Québec to continue providing its services for Espacejeux.com.
Launched in December 2010, Espacejeux.com is authorised by the Quebec Government and provides Quebec residents with responsible online gaming options in a regulated and secure environment.
Loto-Québec has been at the forefront of regulated gaming in North America and Optimal Payments was chosen as the exclusive online payments provider when it showcased its fully-customised solution in a competitive RFP process. Today, customers on Espacejeux.com can use credit cards, Interac Online and online bill payment to fund their accounts and bank transfers (EFT) to receive payouts. Optimal Payments also implemented Quebec residency validation and age verification as part of the customer registration process.
“We are pleased to continue our exclusive relationship with Loto-Québec and to be an integral part of the growth and success of Espacejeux.com,” said Neil Erlick, executive vice president business development, Optimal Payments. “Our experience and expertise in regulated gaming provides Loto-Québec with the security of knowing they have a trusted partner that can meet their regulatory requirements and understands the fast evolving online gaming market.”
“Optimal Payments has been a valuable partner in helping us achieve our vision for Espacejeux.com, “said Luc Morin, director of new product development, Casinos du Québec.”
Optimal Payments has been delivering e-commerce and multi-channel businesses with trusted online payment solutions since 1996. This renewed relationship with Loto-Québec solidifies our long-standing reputation for delivering customized services and solidifies Optimal Payments’ place as a global market leader in the payments industry.
