Pragmatic Play Signs New Deal Four South Africa Expansion

Pragmatic Play has signed a deal with major South African operator Playbet, significantly increasing its presence in the country.

The deal sees Pragmatic Play’s full suite of Slots, Live Casino and Virtual Sports titles delivered to Playbet’s customers via its software provider, Aardvark, going live on 1st February.

Brand exposure in the Southern African sub-region is set to receive a significant boost with titles such as Sweet Bonanza Candyland, landmark title Wolf Gold and multi-award-winning slot Gates of Olympus as Pragmatic Play continues to drive its commercial success across global regulated markets.

Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “This is a fantastic agreement to seal with one of the leading players in South Africa and it furthers our ambitions in this key market.

“It’s been a pleasure to cooperate with Playbet in making this happen and we’re sure its players are going to love the influx of quality content that’s coming their way.”

George Vasilopoulos, Playbet CMO, said: “Our customers are gaining access to over 200 world-class award-winning games and promotions via our playbet.co.za website thanks to this partnership and naturally, we’re very excited about strengthening our online portfolio in such a manner.

“Special thanks go to our Aardvark software provider and Pragmatic Play for all the great development and compliance work.”

Pragmatic Play currently produces up to five new slot titles a month, while also delivering Live Casino and Bingo games as part of its multi-product portfolio, available through one single API.
