Racing Post Sport content has now been launched across Betfred’s website

On Wednesday, Betfred announced that it has become the very first high street bookmakers to fully roll out the Racing Post Sport package across it’s website and mobile banking app. The move has been taken in a bid to encourage customers to engage with an array of different sports. The announcement comes following the successful launch of other Racing Post products within the bookmakers digital and retail outlets.

The move will help to further develop the relationship that Betfred and Racing Post have worked hard to develop, with the Post now providing tipping content for horse racing, greyhounds and football. In a statement, Betfred’s spokesperson confirmed this bid offering that they “have worked closely with Racing Post for a number of years on horse racing, greyhounds and football products and this is the next chapter in a great partnership.”

This package now covers most sports from golf and football to basketball and will give in-depth tipping verdicts for large-scale events across the sporting calendar. In addition, it will cover all major betting markets for a vast variety of sports.

The new content aims to help advice and inform customers, with the end goal being a larger bet stimulus.

Over recent months, there has been an increased focus on high-quality, original content with it now being used to engage customers and keep them on their website for an extended period of time. An increased dwell time is allowing businesses to increase their levels of retention within the competitive market.

Confirming the launch, Lewis McMillan, Head of Digital Product at Betfred commented that “the hyper-competitiveness of the online space demands the evolution of our products and customer engagement strategies. So, complementing our existing Racing Post data package with a huge range of new sports was an obvious next step. Our online customers now have access to stat-rich betting tips across the biggest events spanning the full sporting calendar. This product breaks through the humdrum approach of delivering raw sports data to customers and blends data with expert opinion to offer a truly compelling customer proposition.”

In addition, the Racing Post’s Key Partnership Manager, Jack O’Reilly added that the company were “really excited to continue our partnership with a brand like Betfred on our full sports product. The content that is produced across all sports rivals the content we produce for horse racing and it is great that punters will now have the opportunity to be informed across an array of events. With access to our expert content, combined with a slick betting journey, Betfred really has created a product that engages the sports betting audience.”
