Shay Segev to join GVC Holdings

Industry professional Shay Segev will be joining  GVC Holdings as Chief Operating Officer at the beginning of March 2016 and will be responsible for leading the integration of GVC and Bwin.Party’s respective technology platforms following the completion of the merger between the two, expected in February 2016.

Segev who was formerly COO of Playtech before departing to Gala Coral as Chief Strategy Officer, however with Gala and Ladbrokes in the midst of their own merger Segev has decided to take up the demanding role he knows well from his time at Playtech.

“Shay is recognised in the industry as one of the leading figures in online gaming. His knowledge & experience of integrating technology businesses across all product verticals, from casino to sportsbook products, will be central to the success of the enlarged GVC/bwin.party group which we expect to complete in early February 2016, Kenny Alexander , chief executive officer of GVC Holdings said.
