The Mill Adventure boosts Swedish market presence

Technology-driven platform provider The Mill Adventure has doubled down on its market positioning in the regulated Swedish market after successfully launching BetCentury’s debut brand FunkySpins.com.

The launch is the first in a series of casino brand roll-outs planned through the collaboration with BetCentury, an operator group founded by former Kindred CEO Henrik Tjärnström.

By leveraging The Mill Adventure’s advanced turnkey platform, including its AI-driven SmartLobbies, advanced personalisation tools and real-time Business Intelligence, BetCentury can firmly focus on brand differentiation and player engagement, while relying on a proven, scalable infrastructure to support performance, compliance, and growth in one of Europe’s most competitive regulated markets.

The Mill Adventure’s platform is fully compliant with Sweden’s stringent regulatory requirements, incorporating robust responsible gambling frameworks, comprehensive player protection measures and full alignment with Spelinspektionen standards. This solid foundation empowers BetCentury to launch efficiently and operate with confidence in the market from day one.

BetCentury has entered the Swedish market with a unique proposition, combining more than 100 years of collective industry experience with a forward-looking, technology-first approach. FunkySpins has been designed as a casino-focused experience that prioritises simplicity, speed and entertainment, supported by a continuous test-and-learn methodology embedded across the business.

Bjørnar Heggernes, Chief Commercial Officer at The Mill Adventure, said: “Launching FunkySpins with BetCentury further strengthens our position in Sweden and highlights the flexibility of our platform in highly regulated markets.

“Our turnkey solution enables partners to move quickly from concept to launch, combining advanced personalisation, automated lobby management and real-time data insight within a fully compliant framework.”

Henrik Tjärnström, Co-founder at BetCentury, said: “Going live with FunkySpins through The Mill Adventure’s robust platform gives us the strong technological foundation we need to bring our vision to market effectively.

“Their platform allows us to move fast, continuously refine the player experience and scale with confidence in a competitive, regulated environment.”
