Three Years Till Resort Is Built Says Mohegan Gaming Boss
The Chief Operating Officer of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment said it will be at least three years till the casino resort will be built in the former Hellenikon International Airport.
Mohegan Gaming were named as the winner of the bidding process build a casino resort on the development but Mario Kontomerkos the boss of Mohegan Gaming says that the company have yet to formally sign the license agreement and also the location has only just begun removing the old airport.
Even thou COVID-19 is wrecking the economies of so many countries including Greece Mohegan Gaming is certain once the development is up and running it will help boost tourism and create some 7,000 jobs.
