WIG Diversity Awards to Recognise Queens Passing

The Women in Gaming (WIG) & Diversity Awards takes place this evening at the Savoy Hotel in London, celebrating the achievement and successes of those individuals within the industry. However, the event will also pay tribute to her Majesty the Queen who passed away last week and lies in State just a mile from the venue.

Lana Thompson the founder of the WIG said: “the WIG will recognise and celebrate the passing of the Queen but also pay tribute to her amazing service and dedication to her role as Queen for over 70 years, we very much look forward to seeing all those amazing women and teams come together for what will be a truly memorable evening.”

This year the WIG was sold out over a month before the event takes place and the winners will be announced on social media thereafter along with updates on the website.
