The WIGD Awards have been postponed due to the current conflict in Ukraine.
New date of the event is 15 September 2022 – Savoy Hotel London.
As result Nomination process also will be extended till 9 June 2022.
Lana Thompson Co-Founder of the WIGD explained: “The WIGD is focused mainly on individuals and so many of our sponsors, supporters have asked us to extend the WIGD nomination. Many of our industry colleagues are based in Ukraine, including Clever Duck Media’s design team. Industry and the world are focusing in helping the Ukraine crisis. In the spirit of inclusion we and our stakeholders have decided to change the date of the event to 15 September 2022, when we hope the situation recovers.”
