William Hill Report Full Year Results

888 Holdings has announced its full year results for William Hill by registering them with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).   The results account for both William Hill online and retail along with Mr Green which was both acquired by 888 from Caesars Entertainment on 1 July 2022.

The results to 27 December 2022 show total revenues of £1.23 billion slightly below that of the previous year, however with the removal of all restrictions due to COVID 19 retail rose by 53% to £514.2 million for the year compared to £336.8 million in 2021.

Total EBITDA for the companies retail reached £95.7 million up from £0.1 million the previous year, but online business saw a major decline in turn because gamblers returned to retail with revenues at £509.1 million compared to £628.6 million in 2021 with adjusted EBITDA dropping to £112.2 million in this year from £153.5 million in 2021.

William Hill’s international business also suffered with a fall of 23% to £212 million this year from £276 million last year, much of this was down to the exit from the Dutch market along with regulatory changes to the company.

For the full year the group reported a loss of £31 million for the year up from the £65.5 million loss in 2021.
