\"macau<\/a>May gaming revenues in the world\u2019s largest gambling hub Macau were lower than expected with growth a 9.3% representing $4.05 billion, most analysts predicted a rise of 13% to 15%. This shortfall has fuelled belief that the former Portuguese colony is slowing in growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Macau which is by far the largest gambling zone in the world which earns in two months what Las Vegas makes in a whole year has seen phenomenal growth over many years but with the Chinese government slowing visits by nationals to the gambling hub, it has impacted on current figures.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2013 Macau saw record revenues for the year topping $45 billion but analysts believe that 2014 will not see that huge growth.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
