\"\"Macau registered a rise of 36.4% in revenues for January, representing revenues of $3.26 billion the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau announced on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

That rise is the largest recorded since February 2014 and shows the World\u2019s largest gambling hub is recovering well from recent years of decline.<\/span><\/p>\n

Analyst\u2019s were forecasting a monthly rise of 27% compared to the same period last year but Macau casino operators smashed that expectation.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the Chinese New Year to come in later in February analyst\u2019s are predicting another steady rise in February compared to 2017, it looks like Macau is looking forward to a very good 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
