However, on Monday morning, the issue was resurrected by the Legislator\u2019s Management Council.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Calibri Light',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Calibri Light',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At the moment, only the Pari-Mutuel Commission exists to offer any kind of regulation inside the gambling market and that only regulates the horse racing industry. The horse racing business accounts for roughly $12 million in state and local taxes each year. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Calibri Light',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Calibri Light',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, this could be about to change if the Committee choses to enact these recent suggestions. Republican Senator Ogden Driskill, of Devils Tower, submitted a motion to the Management Council, seeking that a task force consider expanding the commissions <\/span>oversight.
