The deal will see the sportsbook (the UK version of a bookmakers) situated in a sporting arena since the Supreme Court ruled in May 2018 that sports betting was again legal in the US.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The UK bookmaker has currently a presence in eight of the fourteen states that allow sports betting but by far this is a new game changer for the company and one the betting giant can be replicated in other states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Leonsis owns seven pro-sport teams and said that this deal would \u201cenhance the fan experience\u201d and he would also keep the stadium open after sporting events for customers to bet on other sporting events elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In a recent interview with the Times newspaper Leonsis said that he thought that \u201cover the counter\u201d bookmaking could become obsolete in the next ten years, likening it to cable versus Netflix.
