\"\"Holland Casino<\/a> has announced their annual results<\/a> for 2020 showing the company<\/a> lost \u20ac58.8 million in the year due to constant closures and the major effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The operator said that revenues plunged by 53.8% in the year to \u20ac333 million, much of that revenues was derived from slot machines that brought in \u20ac185.9 million, with table games at \u20ac124.7 million.<\/p>\n

The company that was only able to open its 14 casinos for 71 days in the whole year of 2020 said that its visitor numbers non-surprisingly fell by 60% to just 2.5 million for the whole year.<\/p>\n

In a statement on the results and on the company finances Erwin van Lambaart the Companies Chief Executive said: \u201cDespite the constantly changing circumstances and major challenges that this crisis year caused, I firmly believe that we will get through it well,\u201d he went on to say, \u201cThis is due to the resilience of our people, general government support measures, focus on cost control and a clear strategic investment vision for the future.
