AG Communications are known as Aspire Global and operates some 66 gambling websites.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Below is the full statement from the UKGC<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Gambling operator AG Communications will pay a \u00a3237,600 penalty for anti-money laundering (AML) failures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The operator \u2013 which trades as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk\/public-register\/business\/detail\/39483\">Aspire Global and runs 66 websites<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 will also receive an official warning and have conditions added to its licence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">AML breaches related to the operator being unable to demonstrate that it had carried out appropriate due diligence checks on six third party businesses it had entered into white-label partnerships with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Additional licence conditions set out specific action the licensee must take to ensure thorough due diligence checks are conducted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All operators entering white-label partnerships are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk\/licensees-and-businesses\/guide\/page\/emerging-money-laundering-and-terrorist-financing-risks-from-february-2022\">reminded of their obligations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Read\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk\/public-register\/business\/detail\/actions\/39483\">AG Communications&#8217; full penalty<\/a>\u00a0including additional licence condition wording.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has hit AG Communications with a fine of \u00a3237,600 for failures towards Anti Money Laundering.
