New York<\/p><\/div>\n

New York online sports betting figures for August painted a quite strange picture, with revenues for the state reaching $98.5 million for the month which is the lowest amount since July 2022, however the handle was up compared to the previous month and also compared to last year.<\/p>\n

With gross gaming revenue (GGR) slipping down 1.1% from last year which stood at $99.6 million and was also lower than the $105.1 million last month by 6.3%.<\/p>\n

However handle was much better with gamblers betting $1.1 billion for August which represents a rise of 27.6% compare to the same period in 2022 and 15.7% higher than the previous month.<\/p>\n

The market leader by some way is FanDuel which left DraftKings in its wake with revenues of $41.1 for the month with a handle of $384.6 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
