Superbet Group has announced that Sacha Dragic is to assume the role of sole Chief Executive Officer (CEO) starting from January 1, 2026.\u00a0Sacha Dragic, who originally founded Superbet in 2008, re-entered the company as co-CEO in September 2022. His return was seen as a strategic move to guide the company through a period of growth and expansion.<\/p>\n
Jimmy Maymann, who has been serving alongside Dragic as co-CEO since January 2024, will step back from his executive role but will remain involved with the company as a board member. His contributions during his tenure have been acknowledged as instrumental in driving the company’s progress, particularly in enhancing product offerings and technological capabilities.<\/p>\n
The management reshuffle also sees Albert Simsensohn, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO), promoted to the position of Deputy CEO. This change is intended to align the company’s strategic objectives with operational execution.<\/p>\n
Eamonn O\u2019Loughlin, who previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer International, will now take on the role of Chief Operating Officer. This adjustment will broaden his responsibilities, allowing him to oversee customer operations and partnerships across the entire group. O\u2019Loughlin will continue to lead commercial initiatives in markets outside Central and Eastern Europe, reinforcing Superbet’s commitment to international growth.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the leadership changes, Dragic described the new management structure as a “natural step” in the company’s growth journey. He emphasised that this evolution reflects the maturity of Superbet as an organisation and its ambition to pursue sustainable global expansion. Dragic’s vision for the company includes a focus on innovation and market leadership, positioning Superbet to capitalise on emerging opportunities in the online gambling sector.<\/p>\n
In his remarks, Dragic expressed gratitude towards Maymann for his leadership and partnership, highlighting the remarkable achievements the company has made in recent years. The announcement of these management changes comes at a time when Superbet is actively pursuing growth strategies. Earlier this year, the company secured a refinancing agreement worth \u20ac1.3 billion with existing investors, including Blackstone and HPS Investment Partners.
