Anna Hemmings – GamCare CEO
Anna joined GamCare with extensive experience in working in addictions recovery, as well as senior management and Board experience across the private and third sector. Anna has led large and complex service portfolios and has previously worked with a range of NHS commissioners, grant givers and external partner organisations to deliver influential and insightful third sector services.
Christina Thakor-Rankin – Principal Consultant at 1710 Gaming Ltd
Christina has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, holding senior roles with some of the world’s biggest brands managing multiple business disciplines, functions and teams across a range of channels, products, customers, and jurisdictions, licensing and compliance. As Principal Consultant she works with start-ups, investors, established operators, regulators, law enforcement and industry groups across the world, advising on all aspects of the gaming life-cycle from strategy and compliance to operational set-up and business re-engineering. She remains an active Compliance Officer and MLRO, is Co-Founder of the All-In Diversity Project, and a regular contributor to industry publications and events.

Elizabeth Wilks-Wood – Compliance Director, Ritz Hotel Casino Limited
Elizabeth started her legal career as a regulator in Ofcom and the European Commission. She has almost 20 years’ experience advising companies in regulated sectors, including BT and mobile phone companies in the Caribbean and UAE.
Elizabeth became Group Compliance Director of Royal Mail plc in 2014 and in 2017, was awarded “In House Compliance Team of the Year” by Women in Compliance. In March 2017, Elizabeth became the Compliance Director for the Ritz Hotel Casino Limited. In February 2018, the company was awarded, “Socially Responsible Operator of the Year” by the International Gaming Awards.
Her career highlights include overseeing the introduction of mobile broadband in Jamaica and devising and implementing a new global compliance framework, which secured a £12m reduction in fine.
Kirsty Thompson – CEO 138.com
Kirsty Thompson is the CEO of 138.com, an online gaming operator licensed in the UK and Isle of Man to serve casino and sports betting to consumers globally. Prior to joining 138.com, Kirsty worked in the gaming industry for more than two decades, including at various leading brands such as Ladbrokes, Virgin Media and PokerStars.
During that time, Kirsty established the United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour, played a pivotal role in bringing the European Poker Tour to new markets such as Ukraine, Portugal and Poland, and led negotiations to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr as celebrity brand ambassadors.
Lydia Barbara – Head of Innovation Microgaming
Lydia is the Head of Innovation Strategy at Microgaming. She looks after internal innovation initiatives and explorations into new technology. A 14-year veteran of the gaming industry, her previous roles at Microgaming include running the consulting and poker divisions. In February 2018, Lydia was named in the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50, which recognises stand-out, innovative individuals in the industry.
Michelle Elliott – Senior Cash Operations & Collections Executive Les Ambassadeurs Club
Michelle Elliott is the Senior Cash Operations & Collections Executive at Les Ambassadeurs Club. Her career in Casinos started in 1982 as a Trainee Croupier during a gap year in further education and she never looked back. Michelle later made the transition from Croupier to Cashier and has since gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the casino industry. Michelle is known for having developed many innovative changes in the industry. She initiated and conducted the first ever dedicated Casino Cashier Training school in the UK. Michelle also implemented Cashier Premium Rolling Player Procedures in which Mayfair Casinos could accommodate an Asian High Roller business model. She now specialises in Premium Cash Operations and Collections and continues to push the boundaries of improvement for the good of the casino industry
Sarah Sculpher – CMO Caesars Entertainment EMEA
Sarah Sculpher is Chief Marketing Officer for Caesars Entertainment in the EMEA region.
Sarah began her gaming career in 2002 with the Rank Group leading marketing efforts for the Grosvenor Casinos estate in the UK and Belgium. Prior to returning to the gaming industry with Caesars Entertainment in 2013, Sarah held international marketing director roles for several years with The Pentland Group on lifestyle brands such as Berghaus and Lacoste.
With experience gained working across multiple markets and channels she has particular expertise in developing group wide marketing strategies and ensuring they are effective within local market dynamics.
