888 sign deal with Wynn Interactive

888 holdings and Avenue Capital Group has signed a partnership with Wynn Interactive to develop and supply interactive software for the companies offerings into the US online gambling sector.

The 888 platform launched Caesars Interactive World Series of Poker (WSOP) on the 19th September in Nevada and is involved with the same companies application to go live in New Jersey.

Under the operating name of All American Poker Network (AAPN), 888 holdings will now develop a unique offering for Wynn Interactive to ensure regulatory compliance with the companies offerings in both Nevada and New Jersey once licensing has been granted. Wynn will offer a full range of games in New Jersey with poker and all casino games, in Nevada AAPN will cover online poker for Wynn Interactive as the state only allows online poker.

David Licht, executive chairman of AAPN, said: “The platform and ancillary services AAPN will offer through 888, coupled with Wynn’s marquee brand, which is synonymous with quality and trust, will further establish our offering in the forming U.S. regulated online gaming market.”

Brian Mattingley, chief executive officer of 888, added: “This is exactly the type of partnership we’ve envisioned when we formed AAPN with our partners Avenue Capital.

“The challenge of establishing a robust, entertaining offering with ample player liquidity is one of our prime goals, in direct continuum to 888’s success in other regulated markets such as Spain and Italy.

“Wynn’s market footprint and reputation will allow it to leverage our technology and products as it did so successfully in the land-based world.”
